Today on Buckmaster– Veteran education writer Richard Whitmire calls in from Washington, D.C. to talk about education reform and his new book THE BEE EATER: Michelle Rhee Takes on the Nation’s Worst School District. Next, Executive Director of the Tucson Pima Arts Council Roberto Bedoya sits down with Bill to discuss the economic impact of arts on the Tucson community.  Following that, Tom Collier, Buckmaster Show Consumer Affairs Contributor, stops by to talk about potassium iodide pill scams and the possibility of a government shutdown. To close out the show, Bill talks to Green Party Candidate for Mayor Jon McLane.
